Edit a draft

Open a document in the explorer while it is a draft. The document opens in the editor, so you can click into the text and change it directly. Everyone working on the draft sees the same content, and your changes are saved as you go. For documents generated in the wizard, you can change the answers they were built from. Click the pencil icon in the top right corner and select Update Answers. This takes you back to the wizard, where you can re-answer the questions.

Edit a document awaiting approval

Once a draft is submitted for approval it is locked, so nobody can change it while approvers review it. To make more changes, click the pencil icon and select Edit Content. The document becomes an editable draft again.
You also need Edit Content before you can change answers in the wizard. The wizard asks you to use it first if the version is still awaiting approval.

Edit a live document

A live document can’t be edited directly. Click New revision in the top right corner to start a new draft. The live version stays in place until the new revision is approved. Read Revisions for the full workflow.

Delete a table

To remove a whole table from a draft, hover over any cell in the table. Click the three-dot handle that appears next to the row (Row actions) or the column (Column actions), then click Delete table. The table and everything in it are removed in one step.
Delete table only shows up while you can edit the document. Approved versions and read-only views don’t offer it.

Delete a document

To delete a document, open the More options menu in the top right corner and click Delete document, then confirm.
Documents with a live revision can’t be deleted. The option stays greyed out and tells you why when you hover over it.
For uploaded files, the same More options menu also offers Delete draft, which removes only the current draft and keeps earlier versions.
